New York StrikeForce
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: The client wanted the image of a pickaxe striking an object. This logo goes on to portray the entire upper body and head of the miner as well. The extreme effort it takes to swing a pickaxe is illustrated on his face. Light from the helmet reflects off the back of the axe, which becomes a blur due to the speed with which the miner is striking his target.

| The series below are logos I have done but are intended for no team in particular. These concepts are ideas I had in my head and I wanted to see what they turned out like once created. |
|
Las Vegas Aces
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: The idea here is a lightning quick pitching arm, completing the “A”, as it finishes its follow through over the shape of the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. Black and red were chosen because they are the colors of playing cards. The name Aces has dual meaning as they are playing cards as well as the top pitcher on the staff. |

Manhattan Mobsters
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: The 1920’s American gangster has become, in some cases, more of a celebrated character in our culture than an actual tyrant. This logo portrays an individual with power, which many mafia members would like to possess. The colors chosen for this logo came from my desire to portray the mobster with a dark, impersonal feel to him. |

Oklahoma City Cyclones
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: Here I mixed a bit of the old look that baseball logos can have with some of the new. The script and off white color gives it a classic feel, which many teams of the past used, while the movement generated by the cyclone and other areas gives it a more modern touch. |

Austin Sixshooters
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: This cartoon bandit represents nothing more than the ol’ unruly Wild West for which Texas is known. Red and blue make sense for the state capital of Texas. Yellow brightens up the overall logo. |
|
|
St. Petersburg Hammerheads
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: Any word that contains “hammer” in it sounds perfect for a baseball team. That is why I chose it here since the offensive goal of the game is to hammer the ball (like Hammerin’ Hank Aaron). The shark is also positioned to create the shape of an “S”. |

|
Albuquerque Roadrunners
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: The roadrunner in this logo has places to go and is going to get there before anyone else. You can see the determination in its face. The tilted lettering adds to the perception of movement. |

Centennial Bank
Project: Logo
Status: Complete
Details: The approach behind this logo is creating one to which the public can relate. People have to be able to place confidence in their bank, and whether it is one cent or one hundred dollars, every penny matters. The patriotic look and colors are an obvious choice for a bank with this name. |
